About the Role

Grosvenor Casinos is seeking a skilled Culinary Team Member to join our team in Luton. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food to meet the expectations of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acknowledge and welcome customers in all areas, providing exceptional service and ensuring their needs are met.
  • Live our values of Service, Teamwork, Ambition, Responsibility, and Solutions, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in all aspects of your work.
  • Collaborate with the hosting and wider casino team to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare, cook, season, and present casino menus according to recipe standards, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Follow all HACCP and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy food environment.
  • Report any defective equipment or systems to the head chef or duty manager, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Ensure stock rotation, ordering, and usage are diligently followed to minimize stock and financial losses.
  • Seek feedback from customers and front-of-house teams to continuously improve food quality and exceed customer expectations.
  • Practice a "clean as you go" policy in all food preparation and service areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced casino or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy food environment, adhering to all HACCP and safety guidelines.
