About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Mecca Bingo as a Culinary Team Member, working weekends only in our Luton venue.

As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality and safety in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, adhering to Mecca's brand guidelines
  • Work efficiently to minimize food wastage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • Support a productive and efficient working environment, working collaboratively with the team
  • Ensure all daily and weekly food safety checks are completed, including temperature checks and record keeping
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines
  • Report any accidents or near misses through the correct Mecca channels
  • Uphold the company's commitment to protecting young and vulnerable people, in accordance with the responsible gambling policy and procedures
  • Be aware of the 3 Licensing Objectives to protect customers and the business

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a culinary or food preparation setting
  • Flexibility to work weekends and as per business requirements
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety guidelines
