Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Lancaster City Council. This permanent role is based at White Lund Depot and involves carrying out responsive and planned installation and maintenance works across the council's housing and non-housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs in accordance with industry standards and safety protocols
  • Maintaining a high level of technical expertise and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and innovations
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Installing and Commissioning Electro-technical Systems or equivalent qualification
  • At least 3 years of on-site experience in electrical maintenance and repair
  • Full UK driving licence for transient work around the district
