Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in delivering high-quality, community-based care to children and families.

About the Role: As a Rapid Response Nurse, you will work autonomously to provide urgent, specialist care to children who require hospital avoidance or admission prevention.

Main Duties:

  • Conduct rapid assessments of children's physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for support and intervention.
  • Develop and implement emergency care plans in collaboration with the child, their family, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and guidance to families on managing complex health conditions, promoting self-care, and accessing community resources.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Current registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in pediatric nursing or a related field.
  • Excellent assessment and planning skills, with ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with children, families, and healthcare professionals.

Salary and Benefits: The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £18.95 per hour, inclusive of WTD pay, with opportunities for enhancements. Additionally, they will be eligible for a relocation payment if relocating to the local area, discounts for local and national retailers, and dedicated well-being services.
