Job Description:Head of Neighbourhoods

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Neighbourhoods team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in delivering excellent customer-focused housing management and related services, as well as experience of managing neighbourhoods and tenancy management.

The Head of Neighbourhoods will be responsible for leading and inspiring their team to deliver an excellent service for our customers, driving and embedding a high-performance culture across our neighbourhood services, income collection, and environmental services.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading, managing, developing, and empowering colleagues at all levels in a changing environment, as well as strategic thinking and the ability to formulate, implement, and review strategies, policies, and processes.

They will also have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence stakeholders and key partners, and a solid track record of driving improvements in and across teams to achieve targets and outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who delivers on plans, with experience of formulating, implementing, and reviewing strategies, policies, and processes. They will also have strong financial and budget management and forecasting skills to deliver quality services that demonstrate Value for Money.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer experience and satisfaction
  • Leading and managing the Neighbourhoods team to deliver excellent services
  • Formulating and implementing policies and processes to drive improvements in neighbourhood services
  • Managing budgets and financial resources to deliver quality services
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and key partners
