We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our manufacturing team in Reigate, United Kingdom. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating machinery, assembling products, and ensuring production targets are met in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Machinery and Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate machinery and equipment to meet production targets.
- Assemble Products: Assemble products according to company specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on finished products and report defects to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Production Targets: Ensure production targets and deadlines are met, working collaboratively with the team to achieve goals.
- Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines and procedures.
- Stock Management: Assist with stock management and packing of products, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control.
- Manufacturing Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an advantage.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and meet production targets, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, ensuring high-quality products and efficient processes.
- Physical Fitness: Physical fitness for manual handling tasks, with the ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Shift Work: Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by the business.
