Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Professional Services Technician to join our team at Get Support IT Services. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and optimizing technology solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project delivery and work closely with clients to ensure smooth operation of their IT systems.
  • Provide efficient and effective customer service to end-users and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage workload to meet client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Coordinate with third parties to install, configure, and deploy software.
  • Plan and coordinate the deployment and implementation of hardware and software.
  • Configure and set up new user hardware and software.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Document and update records pertaining to supported networks and devices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an IT support environment, preferably within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Strong customer service skills, organizational skills, and strong communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
  • Technical expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune, Exchange management, Windows Server, Active Directory, and other server roles and features.
  • Advanced experience with Windows 10 and familiarity with Office 365 licensing and administration.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V.

Desirable Qualities:

  • Project management experience, including managing technical projects and deploying, configuring, and managing technical solutions.
  • Industry-recognized certifications.
  • A full UK driving license would be beneficial.

Working Environment:

Our team is office-based with site visits as required. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Salary is dependent on experience.
