This role involves providing high-level administrative support to the Information Manager/Management Team in the effective delivery of the administrative service. Key responsibilities include supervising a clerical team, carrying out a comprehensive range of clerical work associated with the compilation and maintenance of the Valuation Roll, Council Tax Valuation List and Electoral Register.

The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of day-to-day council tax and non-domestic rates valuation practices and procedures, as well as experience of performing a wide range of administrative tasks and utilising Microsoft Office packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Key skills required for this role include the ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines, effective organisational, communication and customer service skills, self-motivation, flexibility and the ability to work well as part of a team.

A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes is desirable for this role. The salary for this position is approximately £31-£32 per hour based on a 37-hour week.
