Public Health Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Public Health Nurse to join the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit team.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and proficiency in both English and French languages.
This is a full-time contract position for up to 15 months, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.
Estimated Salary: $37.00 per hour
About the Role:
- Conduct population health assessments and investigations
- Develop and implement public health programs and policies
- Collaborate with community partners to address health issues
- Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and the public
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Proficiency in both English and French languages
- Previous experience working in public health is an asset
