Job Title: Public Health Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Public Health Nurse to join the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent, current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and proficiency in both English and French languages.

This is a full-time contract position for up to 15 months, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Estimated Salary: $37.00 per hour

  • Conduct population health assessments and investigations
  • Develop and implement public health programs and policies
  • Collaborate with community partners to address health issues
  • Provide education and training to healthcare professionals and the public

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent

  • Previous experience working in public health is an asset
