Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our team at Sellafield, working closely with OneAIM (a joint venture between Mitie and Jacobs) to deliver the Integrated Asset Care Contract.

This is a 4+1 year & £250M sanction contract that encompasses mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering projects, with individual jobs, tasks, and projects ranging from hundreds to several million pounds.

As the Subcontracts Manager, you will be responsible for maximizing the successful running and commercial control of each project, coordinating the usage and approach of existing and future subcontractors, and supporting the accurate management of projects through budgeting and reporting.

You will work closely with Operations & Commercial to ensure subcontractors are raised in line with demand and operational requirements, and be the main point of contact for discussions with subcontractors.

About the Role

  • Excellent understanding of projects and their lifecycle, with the ability to support and manage subcontractors and interpret design drawings.
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other system-based information services, as well as a commercial understanding and knowledge of NEC3 all options.
  • Good supplier management following industry guidelines and best practices.
  • Commercial/Construction related qualification or equivalent, with experience managing subcontractors in a heavily regulated environment.
