Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Care Specialist to join our team in Lochaber. As a key member of our Home Respite service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with caring responsibilities.

About the Role

This is a part-time or relief position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact in your local community. Your primary responsibility will be to provide respite care, allowing carers to take a well-deserved break.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality respite care to individuals with caring responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with carers and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support
  • Contribute to maintaining high standards of care and support within the Home Respite service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A genuine passion for delivering exceptional care and support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Social Services Council (SSSC) registration and PVG membership
