Billing Team Associate

This is a fantastic chance to become a Billing Team Associate at Clinigen. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality billing function, ensuring that projects are set up and maintained correctly in our ERP system and client invoices are raised timely and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Implementation
- Implementing project setup and maintenance, including rate schedules and expenditure types.
- Performing manual adjustments, credit notes, and queries.
- Financial Performance
- Generating monthly financial performance reports for MA clients.
- CALCULATING various monthly fees for MA clients.
- Reviewing pass-through costs to be recharged back to MA clients.
- Engaging with program managers to confirm non-standard invoice requirements.
- Assisting the MA business partner with month-end journal preparation for revenue not invoiced.
- Supporting the process and efficiency review of MA transaction processing.
- Implementing improvements in MA transaction processing, focusing on system automation.
- Client Billings
- Loading ADI data and generating invoices.
- Running the invoicing process for fees and pass-through costs through project billing (MA – CLS).
- Providing fully reconciled backup for client invoices.
- Engaging with program managers to review client invoices.
- Supporting credit controllers with queries to enable debt collection.
- Assisting with manual adjustments, credit notes, and queries.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Processing customer rebates by running reports, checking agreements, creating credit note files, and reconciling accounts.
- Managing direct debit processes, including bank file allocation and reconciliation.
- Conducting process flow reviews to ensure any process improvements are discussed and approved with the line manager.
- Providing ad-hoc support for finance queries and inbox.
- Keeping personal training records up-to-date.
- Demonstrating sufficient knowledge and providing support for roles within the finance peer group to ensure business continuity during times of annual leave, absence, or busy periods.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client information on business systems to minimize risk exposure and improve internal communication.
- Apart from Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA or studying AAT, experience working on a previous ERP system (Oracle is preferred) is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- English and Mathematics GCSE grades A-B (or equivalent).
- Highly computer literate; experience operating with all Microsoft Office software, including proficient use of Excel (lookups/pivot tables).
