Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Sanitation Associate to join our team at Truvant. As a Sanitation Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in our production facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of production rooms, pack-off areas, and packaging equipment
  • Assist in the disassembly and assembly of equipment and production lines
  • Operate a floor buffer and scrubber to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Fill out required sanitation pre-operational reports and complete all necessary paperwork
  • Identify defects in packages/pouches and report to management
  • Operate a pallet jack to move materials and products
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required; on-the-job training provided
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow company policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of company products, policies, and procedures gained through on-the-job training
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and customer information
  • Ability to adhere to all regulatory and company policies, procedures, and work instructions

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to read documents, printouts, and computer screens
  • Ability to hear well enough to communicate with coworkers
  • Ability to reach, touch, and grasp
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to climb, stoop/kneel, lift, pull, and push
  • Ability to conduct yourself in a safe manner to avoid accidents while on the production floor
