Heating Service Technician

Liberty, an experienced and innovative Heating and Compliance firm, is seeking a skilled Heating Service Technician to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of work onsite, working on hot water cylinders, solar thermal systems, and heat pumps. Key responsibilities include undertaking general central heating system repairs, carrying out onsite supervision, and providing technical and practical support. The successful candidate should possess a proven track record and experience in Air Source Heat Pump systems. Recognised formal training, such as a Domestic Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds equivalent, is desirable but not essential. A full clean driving license and electrical qualifications, including 17th/18th edition and control re-wiring experience, are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of work onsite, working on hot water cylinders, solar thermal systems, and heat pumps.
- Undertake general central heating system repairs.
- Carry out onsite supervision and provide technical and practical support.
- Fault finding analysis, maintenance, and repairs to commercial and domestic heating systems.
- Installation and upgrading work to respective heating, sanitation, plumbing, and HVAC equipment on a planned and reactive basis.
- Ensure compliance with the appropriate regulatory standards and good practice.

- Proven track record and experience in Air Source Heat Pump systems.
- Recognised formal training, such as a Domestic Plumbing NVQ L2/L3 or City & Guilds equivalent.
- Full clean driving license.
