Team Leader Role - Children's Residential Home

Daisy Nook Recruitment Ltd is working alongside a privately run residential home for children (6-18 year olds) with learning disabilities. This home is based in various locations. The home is looking for a Team Leader to join their team in Studley, Warwickshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Support Worker seeking a career progression or an existing Team Leader looking for a change.

The salary for this role is £12.80 per hour. The working hours are 42 per week on a rota basis, with at least one full weekend per month. Two sleep ins per week are required, paid additionally at £55 per sleep in.

Requirements for the Team Leader Role

Previous experience working with children with learning disabilities is necessary.

You should be able to build strong relationships with children and staff alike.

Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues and other significant parties in a child's life is crucial.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to complete reports and care plans effectively.

A qualified NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or a similar qualification is necessary for this role.
