About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Practitioner to join our Older People Mental Health Service in Peterborough. As an Approved Mental Health Professional, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health social work services to adults in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to assess and develop care plans for adults with mental health needs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and other agencies on mental health social work practices
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
  • Participate in the training and development of new social workers
  • Work closely with partner agencies to ensure timely and effective discharge from hospital
