Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will contribute to the development of the evidence base and contribute to the CHPs service.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing specialist psychological input within a dedicated adult clinical neuroscience and health psychology service. This includes working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care across various settings, including outpatient and inpatient services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with neurological conditions.
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide expert recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to research projects.
Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology (or equivalent), as accredited by the BPS/HCPS, including specifically models of psychopathology.
  • Proficiency in using two or more distinct psychological therapies and extensive knowledge of lifespan developmental psychology.
  • Strong commitment to CPD as evidenced by post-qualification training.
  • Post-qualification training in clinical supervision.
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £46,148 - £60,504 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to ongoing professional development opportunities, a supportive working environment, and a generous annual leave allowance.
