Adult Support Service Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practitioner Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will have a postgraduate doctorate in Psychology and experience in supervising Assistant Psychologists.

Compensation: Up to £60,000 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience - plus £3,000 Welcome Bonus and £3,000 relocation package.

The role involves working within a well-established clinical team, facilitating MDT working with Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and an Assistant Psychologist. This will involve working within the framework of service policies and procedures and existing MDT and Clinical Governance structures to support future development and quality assurance.

About the Position

This challenging and rewarding role requires someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable adults. As a Clinical Practitioner Psychologist, you will play a key role in developing bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the adults we support.

Essential Requirements

  • Postgraduate doctoral level qualification in Psychology (clinical, counselling, forensic)
  • Registration with the HCPC and BPS
  • Supervision experience with Assistant Psychologists
  • Experience working with intellectually disabled children and adults with autism and additional needs
  • Collaborative working skills with various partners
  • Conflict resolution and sensitivity skills
  • Continuing professional development relevant to the setting
  • Significant post-qualification experience with adults and children
  • Lecturing/training skills and valid UK driving licence
