About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Hill Group UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in championing and fostering a learning culture that drives business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver various L&D interventions and initiatives to support the growth and development of our employees.
  • Support the effective coordination of training and events to ensure seamless delivery and maximum impact.
  • Assist in the assessment of training needs and support the development of training activities to address competency gaps.
  • Collaborate with the Senior L&D Business Partner to develop and deliver on the L&D strategy and proposition.
  • Provide expert advice and support to stakeholders and colleagues on L&D matters.
  • Support our apprentice learners with pastoral care to increase engagement and retention.
  • Work closely with the wider team, including Talent and HR, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Support the design, development, and administration of performance review processes.
  • Collaborate with the L&D Administrator to collate training records and certification.
  • Support the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy.
  • Facilitate training, team development, lunch & learns, and webinars to promote learning and growth.
  • Develop and maintain career development plans and learning pathways.
  • Support the Group Succession Planning Process.
  • Maintain links with relevant colleges, universities, and schools to support employability initiatives and promote the brand within our communities.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to develop and deliver effective content and courses.
  • Ability to manage the classroom environment, including virtual classrooms.
  • Full understanding of the life cycle of training design through to evaluation.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
