Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Hill Group UK. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in championing and fostering a learning culture that drives business success.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver various L&D interventions and initiatives to support the development of our employees.
- Support the effective coordination of training and events to ensure seamless delivery and maximum impact.
- Assist in the assessment of training needs and support the development of training activities to address competency gaps.
- Collaborate with the Senior L&D Business Partner to develop and deliver on the L&D strategy and proposition.
- Provide internal L&D expertise to advise and support stakeholders and colleagues on learning and development opportunities.
- Support our apprentice learners by offering pastoral care to help increase engagement and retention.
- Work closely with the wider team, including Talent and HR, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Support the design, development, and administration of performance review processes to drive employee growth and development.
- Collaborate with the L&D Administrator to collate training records and certification.
- Support the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Strategy by promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Facilitate training, team development, lunch and learns, and webinars to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain career development plans and learning pathways to support employee growth and progression.
- Support the Group Succession Planning Process to ensure a smooth transition of leadership roles.
- Maintain links with relevant colleges, universities, and schools to support employability initiatives and promote the brand within our communities.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver effective content and courses that meet business needs.
- Ability to manage the classroom environment, including virtual classrooms, to ensure engaging and interactive learning experiences.
- A full understanding of the life cycle of training design through to evaluation to ensure maximum impact and ROI.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to support administrative tasks and reporting.
