Aerospace Support Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Support Engineer to join our team on a Permanent basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for writing procedural and descriptive maintenance publications to deliver in line with Customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize current authoring toolsets to develop future ways of working, leveraging emerging technology for digital engineering and advanced information systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of engineering principles and the product lifecycle to ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation.
Requirements:
  • Good IT skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • An engineering background, preferably in an aerospace environment, although skills/experience from other sectors such as maritime, land, or an appropriate production engineering/manufacturing environment would be considered.
  • Applicable work experience or HNC (or above) in a relevant STEM subject.
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of Aerospace working practices.
  • Experience of Standard Generalised Mark-Up Language (SGML), Extensible Mark-Up Language (XML), and S1000D.
  • Experience/knowledge of technical authoring toolsets.
