Job Title: Technical Authority

Expleo is seeking a highly skilled Technical Authority to lead our marine tooling projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the design, development, testing, and implementation of marine tooling and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, guidelines, and best practices for marine tooling.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for new and existing marine tooling projects.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to drive project success.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and industry partners.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in marine tooling.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Master's Degree preferred).
  • Strong understanding of marine tooling technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Marine Engineering or tooling design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or technical authority role.
