The Role:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our team in Cumbria. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing installation procedures and technical manuals for innovative product lines. You will work closely with project and design teams to ensure documentation is clear, concise, and meets the highest standards.

This role offers the opportunity to travel internationally to key sites a few times a year. You will be expected to collaborate with design and project teams to gather requirements for technical documentation, review and update existing technical manuals, and use 2D/3D CAD software to produce images and illustrations for manuals.

You will also be responsible for ensuring all manuals and technical documents are delivered on time and meet industry standards. A proven background in technical writing or related roles is essential, as is experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
