Teaching Assistant for SEMH Pupils

About the RoleWe are seeking a talented Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or behaviour mentor to join our client school in Essex.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD) and/or Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
- Pupils may have ADHD, Asperger Syndrome, Autism (ASD), Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD / EBD), Challenging Behaviour, Global Development Delay (GDD), or Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
The successful candidate will:
- Support individual pupils and small groups of pupils.
- Be a positive role model and offer encouragement to promote confidence.
- Assist with the planning of learning activities and help with classroom preparation.
- A supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
