Accounting and Finance Role

Healthy Careers is seeking a skilled Accounts/Finance Assistant to join our team in Stevenage.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist the finance team in managing the purchasing function.
  • Verify and reconcile purchase ledger and statements.
  • Respond to purchase order queries.
  • Coordinate payment runs.
  • Perform other tasks as required by the business.

Expected Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:
  • Qualification in AAT/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Desirable experience in bookkeeping or accountancy in an SME environment.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using SAGE or similar accounting software.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to gather information.
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Able to follow company policies and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
  • Pleasant and professional phone manner.
  • Flexible and able to multitask.
Work Environment:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
