Financial Administrator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to join our team at Fresh Recruit in Stevenage. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase and sales ledger, scanning and loading supplier invoices onto Sage, and preparing supplier invoice payment support for payment runs.

You will also be required to match bank receipts and payments to Sage invoices, provide holiday cover for the Finance Accounts Manager on other admin tasks, and check and correct meter movements in the VMGR system for anomalies.

In addition, you will be responsible for daily cash counting using a counting machine and wholesale orders placed on the system when customers call or email.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent customer-friendly phone and email skills, good numeracy and Excel experience, and proficiency in Sage Line 50 Accounts and Sage Payroll (training can be provided).

The working hours for this role are Monday to Friday, either 9am – 4.30pm or 8.30am – 4pm.
