Clinical Physiologist - NHS Healthcare Professional
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Physiologist to join our team at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading provider of neurology and neurosurgery services, we offer a challenging and rewarding environment for professionals looking to make a difference in patient care.
In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking a range of neurophysiological investigations, including EEG, evoked potential recordings, and nerve conduction studies. You will also contribute to training and education programs, helping to develop the skills of other clinical physiologists and ensuring high standards of professionalism.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in neurophysiology, with experience in conducting routine and long-term monitoring investigations. You will need to be registered with the Academy of Healthcare Science formerly RCCP and have appropriate UK professional registration.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Physiologist at The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who is experienced in all modalities of neurophysiology at the level of the Practitioner Training Program (PTP) or apprenticeship program in neurophysiology or equivalent.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Undertake ambulatory EEG and video telemetry, as well as routine EEGs, NCS, and EPs
- Contribute to training and education programs, including those for Manchester Metropolitan University (PTP)
- Participate in multi-disciplinary clinical audit programs, maintaining high professional standards
- Registered with the Academy of Healthcare Science formerly RCCP
