Degree in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent), or ONC/BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics
Certified to work with and manage patients with implanted medical devices , such as Permanent Pacemakers (PPM) and Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICD)
Bubble Echoes/Drug-induced Echoes
Proficient in using PC software and healthcare systems
Maths and English GCSE (grades A-C) or equivalent functional skills (Level 2)
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will:
Deliver high-quality patient care while performing a comprehensive range of cardiology investigations , including both invasive and non-invasive procedures
Maintain patient care standards in line with hospital policies, working collaboratively with the wider healthcare team
Ensure a consistently high standard of service to patients, consultants, and other healthcare professionals
Plan, perform, and interpret a variety of cardiology investigations , including invasive and non-invasive procedures, under guidance as necessary
Continuously develop and maintain your clinical competencies to stay at the forefront of the field
