Job Title: Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Mental Health Specialist in our Heathrow IRC location. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering psychosocial interventions for individuals with substance misuse issues and low-level mental health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for clients
  • Maintain a caseload and provide guidance on harm reduction strategies
  • Design and deliver structured sessions for Substance Misuse and Low-Level Mental Health service users
  • Collaborate with other health agencies to ensure seamless support from prison to community settings
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of substance misuse and low-level mental health issues
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting risk assessments and implementing SMART care plans
  • Experience with psychosocial interventions, including motivational interviewing techniques
  • A thorough understanding of the 12-step recovery process
