Job Role: Construction Technician - Equipment Maintenance and Training

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Technician to join our team at Edinburgh College. As a key member of our School of Construction, you will play a vital role in ensuring the provision of a quality teaching and learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out or arrange routine maintenance of equipment through regular stocktaking.
  • Assist in training and supervision of new technicians and/or work experience students.
  • Facilitate bespoke training across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge across many construction disciplines.
  • Good ICT and communication skills.
  • A 'can do' attitude and willingness to work in a flexible team environment.
