Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operational Support Associate to join our team at Energy Systems Catapult. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the ongoing operations for Living Lab trials and other assets, ensuring they are set up for success, continually improved, and take all users into account.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and concisely. They will also possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work on different projects and products simultaneously, while balancing ongoing operational tasks.

The role will involve supporting the development and deployment of technical support to consumers, participants, and local authorities, as well as interfacing with stakeholders using strong communication skills. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing reports to monitor data quality, investigating any gaps in data, and escalating where necessary to resolve.

We are looking for a collaborative and flexible individual who is willing to develop new skills and support tools and systems. The successful candidate will have a focus on continuous improvement, ensuring that we are working efficiently and keeping up with demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support development and deployment of technical support to consumers, participants, and local authorities
  • Interface with stakeholders using strong communication skills
  • Review reports to monitor data quality and investigate any gaps in data
  • Escalate where necessary to resolve
  • Contribute to risk and quality assessment and management
  • Support the installation and decommissioning of technologies into homes
  • Ensure compliance with legal obligations such as GDPR
