You will also be responsible for managing the kitchen team, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and controlling food and labor costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Develop the Kitchen Team: You will be responsible for leading, developing, and motivating a team of chefs and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Manage Food and Labor Costs: You will be responsible for managing food and labor costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that the kitchen is operating efficiently.
- Maintain Food Safety and Hygiene Standards: You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring that all food is prepared and served safely and that the kitchen is clean and well-maintained.
- Develop and Implement Menus: You will be responsible for developing and implementing menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring that they are nutritious and appealing.
- Manage Kitchen Operations: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that meals are prepared and served on time and that the kitchen is running smoothly.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience as a Chef Manager: You will need to have previous experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef, with a proven track record of leading a kitchen team and managing food and labor costs.
- Qualifications: You will need to have relevant qualifications, such as an OND or HND in culinary arts, and experience of working in a similar environment.
