About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Planning Engineer to join our team at the Airbus Atlas Support Centre UK, supporting the maintenance and operation of the RAF A400M fleet.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 24/7 basis, collaborating with the aircraft's IT and the customer to ensure the airworthiness of the fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement maintenance plans for the RAF A400M fleet, ensuring all tasks are packaged into work packs for execution by internal or external base maintenance organisations.
  2. Input maintenance data, including equipment, manuals, specifications, overhaul plans, and logistics parameters.
  3. Schedule aircraft configuration changes and major role changes, forecasting availability and capability.
  4. Making recommendations for task allocation and scheduling, taking into account Flight Headquarters (FHQ) requirements and ensuring correct aircraft capability and remaining potential.
  5. Manage the Schedule Maintenance Programme and Flying Programme to mitigate for AOGs, unserviceability, changes to task and priorities, delays, defects, etc.
  6. Create and maintain the Integrated Through Life Plan (ITLP) to increase fleet availability and manage utilisation.
  7. Enter and maintain A400M planning data in the customer's Ground Computer Information System (GCIS).
  8. Manage projects and assignments as directed by the HO CAW.
  9. Support and contribute to any continuous improvement programme.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years' experience working within the airline industry.
  2. CAMO experience.
