Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Ad Warrior in Oxford. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building maintenance, with experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, as well as a keen eye for detail.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work on all aspects of maintenance, including routine inspections, planned maintenance programs, and emergency repairs. They will also be responsible for maintaining records and reports, as well as assisting contractors with diagnostic and remedial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine inspections of plant, machinery, and equipment
- Follow a planned maintenance program to ensure regular servicing of machinery and equipment
- Respond to reports of faults and deal with any maintenance problem within own capabilities
- Clearing gutters, drains, gullies, and downpipes
- Undertaking emergency, reactive, and proactive maintenance tasks at other Centre properties in Oxford
- Reporting any maintenance fault which needs further support or is beyond capabilities
- Assisting contractors in completing diagnostic and remedial work, referring any issues to the Maintenance Manager as appropriate
Requirements
- Relevant trade qualifications, such as City and Guild, NVQ certificate, or equivalent experience
- PASMA, IPAF, and First Aid at Work are desirable
What We Offer
In return for your skills and experience, we offer a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
