Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

Salary: £67,543 per annum (including shift allowance)

Aeropeople is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to perform critical tasks in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Undertake scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with required regulations and company requirements.
  • Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks within the scope of authorisation and under the authority of the Quality Manager.
  • Ensure technical staff perform duties safely and correctly, adhering to relevant documentation.
  • Assume control of documentation for aircraft and ensure certification entries are recorded promptly and correctly.
  • Manage materials and equipment provided for tasks and maintain working area cleanliness.
  • Be available at short notice for AOG recovery of aircraft from deployed operations.
  • Liaise with Planning to discuss technical issues and forthcoming scheduled inputs.
  • Coordinate ground movement of aircraft assigned by the Shift Manager.
  • Maintain awareness of safety and quality policies and applicable hazard analyses.

Requirements:

  • B1 UK CAA Licence.
  • Pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test.
  • Airbus A330 Type Rating on UK CAA Licence.
  • Experience in Line and Base maintenance environments.
  • Demonstrable experience on commercial or military aircraft is desirable.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
