Aircraft Maintenance Specialist

Salary: £67,543 per annum (including shift allowance)
Aeropeople is recruiting an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to perform critical tasks in accordance with quality and regulatory standards.
Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in line with required regulations and company requirements.
- Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks within the scope of authorisation and under the authority of the Quality Manager.
- Ensure technical staff perform duties safely and correctly, adhering to relevant documentation.
- Assume control of documentation for aircraft and ensure certification entries are recorded promptly and correctly.
- Manage materials and equipment provided for tasks and maintain working area cleanliness.
- Be available at short notice for AOG recovery of aircraft from deployed operations.
- Liaise with Planning to discuss technical issues and forthcoming scheduled inputs.
- Coordinate ground movement of aircraft assigned by the Shift Manager.
- Maintain awareness of safety and quality policies and applicable hazard analyses.
Requirements:
- B1 UK CAA Licence.
- Pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test.
- Airbus A330 Type Rating on UK CAA Licence.
- Experience in Line and Base maintenance environments.
- Demonstrable experience on commercial or military aircraft is desirable.
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
