We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sterile Production and Quality Assurance Lead to join our pharmacy team.

This role will involve leading the development, implementation, and supervision of sterile and non-sterile production services, including oncology, CIVAS, unit dose, and liquid preparations.

You will work closely with the Director of Pharmacy, Pharmacy Operations Manager, and other teams to achieve our vision of delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pharmacy production services, quality assurance, and medicines safety, as well as strong leadership and decision-making skills.

As a Sterile Production and Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and national legislation, regulation, and best practice standards.

You will also lead the development and implementation of governance documentation, such as policies, procedures, and specifications.

In this role, you will identify, develop, and implement innovative solutions to improve patient safety and outcomes.

You will promote and engage in pharmacy and organisational leadership, mentoring, coaching, and empowerment.

To be successful in this role, you will require registration as a Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council, a Master's degree in Clinical Pharmacy or related area, and postgraduate accreditation in technical/aseptic services.

Significant pharmacy production experience, including oncology, and substantial hospital pharmacy experience are essential.

You will also need to demonstrate high-level thinking, direction, and priority setting, as well as strong decision-making and critical appraisal skills.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
