The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our high-quality service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines.



Key Responsibilities:

  1. You will lead a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other support staff in providing effective end-to-end manufacturing of non-sterile compounded products for patients and prescribers.
  2. Act as Responsible Pharmacist on a rotational basis as per the Responsible Pharmacist Regulations.
  3. Work as lead for the non-sterile compounding lab, involved in research and development, and answer formulation queries.
  4. Safeguard safe and effective production, ensuring quality assurance across all compounded products.


Accountabilities:

  • Supervise quality assurance processes, ensuring product specifications are met, preparation methods are correct, and GMP standards are upheld.
  • Maintain accurate data integrity, including audit trails, operator, and time stamps within and outside the Compounding Software solution.
  • Investigate rejected products and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Ensure data integrity standards are upheld across documentation pathways, including ALCOA+.
  • Advise the production team on capacity and contingency planning, scheduling, and equipment utilization.
  • Deliver turnaround times in line with the company's key performance indicators.
  • Observe Safety at Work Act 1974 regulations and COSHH regulations, protecting staff and the public.
  • Formulate or quality assure new preparations, maintaining compounding standards and customer satisfaction.


We are looking for:

  1. A problem-solving GPhC-registered Pharmacist with minimal supervision requirements.
  2. An individual able to work methodically with excellent attention to detail, possessing basic computer skills.
  3. A flexible and adaptable professional willing to accommodate part-time shifts.
  4. A pharmacist with production/compounding experience, highly desirable.


Estimated Salary:
£65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
