We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Antill Road Day Service in Tower Hamlets. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs, including severe learning and physical disabilities, complex healthcare, and behavioral needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals to participate in a range of fulfilling and meaningful daytime activities, both at Antill Road and in the community.
- Ensuring the health, wellbeing, and educational needs of individuals are met.
- Providing physical, emotional, and social care to individuals.
- Working with individuals to promote social inclusion and independent living.
- Encouraging individuals to maximize their skills and choices.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in social care or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with Autism, challenging behavior, or learning disabilities.
- Good IT skills.
- Training or experience with PBS Approach and Capable Environments framework.
