Pest Control Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pest Control Supervisor to join our team at PDA Search & Selection. As a Pest Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the pest control operations in the South East region, ensuring that all works are carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with the company's Health and Safety policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of pest control technicians to ensure that all works are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure that all works meet the required standards.
  • Develop and implement pest control strategies to prevent and control pest infestations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure that all pest control activities are aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Provide training and support to technicians to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control the work, attendance, and timekeeping of technicians to ensure that quality standards and efficiency are maintained.
  • Carry out audits and inspections to identify potential pest control issues and develop strategies to prevent them.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure that their pest control needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure that the company's pest control services are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

  • GCSE standard or equivalent.
  • Experience in pest control environment/industry.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Helpful/professional manner.
  • Customer-focused.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Hands-on, can-do, and flexible approach to work.
  • Positive approach, able to work in a dynamic business environment.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Desirable:

  • Degree Level.
  • Field Biologist Qualified.
  • Royal Society of Health Cert in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma's Part 1 and 2.
  • Bird proofing work.
  • Fumigation services.
  • Previous Supervisory Experience.
