Workforce Planning Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Workforce Planning Manager to join our team at Corndel College London (CCL). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for forecasting, planning, and allocating staff to deliver our program schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a comprehensive staff forecast and plan based on the program schedule and business needs.
- Support the Director of Operations with capacity planning requirements based on forecasting data and operational planning schedules.
- Allocate staff to the program schedule, taking into account their availability, skills, preferences, and development opportunities.
- Communicate the staff plan and any changes to relevant stakeholders and resolve any conflicts or issues.
- Track and analyze staff utilization and provide regular reports and feedback to management and staff.
- Identify and address any gaps, risks, or challenges in the staff plan and schedule, and propose and implement solutions and improvements.
- Coordinate induction plans for new operational staff and gather feedback for improvements.
- Conduct analysis on current workforce capability and develop a plan to meet policy and operational requirements.

- At least three years of experience in operational planning, staff scheduling, resource management, or a similar role, preferably in the higher education industry.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and the ability to work with data and complex information.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with different teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with staff planning software is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible, adaptable, and resilient, and able to cope with changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, maintaining accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- High levels of ownership and accountability.
