HLTA Position in Primary Schools

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work within primary schools in the Clitheroe area. This role would involve supporting the class teacher and opportunities to take the class when needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing the needs of students and using detailed knowledge and specialist skills to support students' learning.
- Establishing productive working relationships with students, acting as a role model and setting high expectations.
- Stepping up for the class teacher in the event of their absence.
- Addressing gaps in learning.
- Understanding and following safeguarding procedures.
This is a full-time temporary role, however depending on circumstances it may become permanent.

Requirements include:
- Relevant experience as a HLTA/ Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- A level 2 safeguarding certificate (this can be completed following application).
- A DBS on the update service (this can be applied for following application).
- Professional references from your 2 most recent employers.
