We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to provide support in primary schools within the Clitheroe area. This role involves working closely with the class teacher and taking on additional responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and provide targeted support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Establish strong relationships with students, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Be prepared to cover classes in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Identify and address learning gaps to ensure students' progress.
  • Understand and adhere to safeguarding procedures.

This is a full-time temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on circumstances.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as a HLTA or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
  • A Level 2 safeguarding certificate (can be completed following application).
  • A DBS on the update service (can be applied for following application).
  • Professional references from previous employers.

All pay rates quoted include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent in the future.
