Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in the Clitheroe area. This is a full-time temporary role, with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess student needs and provide targeted support to enhance learning outcomes.
- Establish positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, promoting a supportive learning environment.
- Support the class teacher in planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons, as well as taking the class when needed.
- Address learning gaps and provide additional support to students who require it.
- Understand and adhere to safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
- Relevant experience as a HLTA or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
- A Level 2 safeguarding certificate (can be completed following application).
- A DBS on the update service (can be applied for following application).
- Professional references from previous employers.
- A competitive hourly rate of £14-£16.
