Job Role: Behaviour Support Assistant
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Assistant to work on a full or half day basis, providing pastoral support and challenging pupils to reinforce self-esteem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement positive behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to support pupils with SEN.
- Adjust approach to changes in behaviour with SEN pupils.
- Provide reliable and consistent support to pupils.
- Understand and follow safeguarding procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
- Ability to work well with the classroom teacher.
- Positive attitude and reliable.
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures.
