Brewery Support Associate

The Brewery Support Worker 1 is a key member of our brewery team, responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our facilities. Reporting to the Brewery Support Supervisor, this role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about working in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Perform housekeeping and sanitation tasks, including sweeping, washing windows and walls, cleaning restrooms, and removing or sorting trash/recycling/compost.
- Effectively use mobile equipment, such as forklifts, articulating booms, and scissor lifts, as well as specialty washers and chemicals.
- Assist with production needs in Brewing, Packaging, Warehouse, Quality, and other departments as necessary.
- Respond to brewery and restaurant immediate support needs and maintain personal workflow to ensure easy handoffs to others.
- Ensure personal safety, food safety, and quality protocols are followed.
- Document facilities maintenance requests and execute minor facilities maintenance tasks.
- Complete preventive maintenance on cleaning equipment.
- Assist brewery guests by answering questions and providing directions.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- 1 year of previous experience in industrial cleaning or manufacturing preferred.
- Basic literacy skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective communication skills required.
- Ability to become certified and operate forklift, scissor-lift, and articulating boom (training provided).
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a member of a high-functioning team.
- Understanding of when to escalate issues.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures, good manufacturing practices, and product specifications to maintain product quality.
- Ability to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets (S.D.S.) and label instructions.
- Ability to use furniture moving equipment, such as a dolly or cart.
- Ability to safely operate powered equipment, such as a shop vacuum, floor buffer, carpet extractor, high-pressure water systems, and a variety of hand tools after training.
- Forklift Certification upon hire preferred.
- Forklift Certification within 180 Days required.
