Senior Band 6 Substance Misuse Clinical Lead

We are a leading UK provider of drug and alcohol treatment services to offenders. Our services deliver treatment and recovery support in prisons and in the community, which helps people move away from addiction and crime.
- The post holder will provide nursing care and psychosocial interventions to patients according to their clinical needs and in accordance with evidence-based practice and clinical protocols.
- They will have an understanding of security and safety consistent with working within a custodial framework.
- Key responsibilities include triage, assessment, administration of controlled drugs, group facilitation, and 1:1 key working.
- They will participate in effective assessment of care needs, providing high standards of care to clients, and develop, implement, and evaluate care programs.
- They will also participate in delivering training on substance misuse issues to wider stakeholders.
- Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience is required.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient records within required standards.
- Current Registered General Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of SystmOne.
- Experience working within custodial settings and substance misuse.
