The ICB's role is to join up health and care services, improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities for the million people who live in Hertfordshire and West Essex.



Role Overview


We are looking for a Senior Digital Transformation Expert to support our ambitious plans for digital records sharing in Hertfordshire and West Essex.



Main Responsibilities


This pivotal post within our established ICS Digital Transformation function will be responsible for the technical design, scoping, drafting functional requirements specifications and mapping out our providers' technical implementation and clinical application support requirements.


The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert for the ICB and our partners in systems technical architecture, defining technical options and approaches predominantly, for a digital care plan solution, with an initial focus on frailty and end of life care.



Key Requirements


The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of technical specialist areas, acquired through post graduate diploma or equivalent experience or training plus further specialist knowledge or experience to master's level equivalent.


They will also have strong integration knowledge and experience, including how HL7v2, batch files uploads and on-demand API (IHE profiles, FHIR) work.


Apart from this, the candidate should have knowledge and experience with Oracle Cerner HIE or equivalent information sharing software, as well as digital transformation knowledge and experience in an NHS and/or social care context.


In addition to these skills, the successful candidate must have experience of working at strategic level, able to recognise opportunities for improvement, leading, managing, developing, influencing and inspiring staff.



Salary and Benefits


The estimated salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position also offers a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave and flexible working arrangements.
