Electronics Systems Design and Development Opportunity

Location: Denbighshire, Wales, LL17

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is currently recruiting for an experienced Electronics Systems Design and Development Specialist to join our client in Denbighshire, Wales, LL17. They are a specialist manufacturer within their field. This position is based at our client's Optical Systems Innovation Hub in St Asaph, North Wales and focuses on electronic system design and development of new imaging and sighting systems for Aerospace & Defence. You will be working with colleagues across the business including product management and business development to support new commercial opportunities as well as operations, supporting technology transfer to manufacture.

The working hours are full-time, 37.5 office hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the development of electronic solutions for a range of electro-optical products utilising FPGA, digital and analogue electronic hardware and software.
  2. Provide electronic systems engineering inputs from concept to manufacture and test.
  3. Assist with requirements capture and specification definition, sensitivity analysis, reliability analysis as required.
  4. Interfacing with and managing output from sub-contractors.
  5. Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and perform electronic design, analysis and test.
  6. Prepare presentations and reports to a high standard for all phases of the project.
  7. Work with Business Development and Engineering teams to support new opportunities and generate solutions for customers.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics engineering, 2:1 or better.
  2. Demonstrable knowledge in digital and analogue signal processing, and video processing.
  3. Analogue electronics design experience.
  4. Create and maintain technical documentation that supports the product development process including product specifications, manuals and end user instructions.
