About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to enhance and maintain a key biodiversity data platform in the UK. The role involves improving internal applications, coding, and collaborating with a small, remote team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing enhancements and project work, associated websites, and API.
  • Creating and maintaining comprehensive and accurate documentation.
  • Participating in work planning and management meetings with the Lead Developer and other colleagues.
  • Contributing to the identification and solution of issues, and the continuous improvement of the application, associated websites and API.
Requirements
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and on complex projects.
  • Extensive experience in full stack coding skills, including OOP, MVC frameworks, REST web services, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Linux, MySQL or PostgreSQL, and JavaScript, jQuery, CSS.
