Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Youth Autism Support Worker to join our team of dedicated professionals.

About the Position: As a Youth Autism Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young autistic adults to develop skills that enhance their independence, well-being, and social inclusion.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support and guidance to help learners achieve their personal goals.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the unique needs of each learner.
  • Collaborate with other support workers and professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments to monitor learner progress and adjust support plans accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with autistic individuals or in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with learners, staff, and families.
  • A calm and patient approach, with a willingness to adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality support services that meet the needs of our clients.
